Robin Adams
Robin joined mb LAW from Royal Caribbean International in 2000 as a trainee solicitor, qualifying as a solicitor in 2002.
Robin specialises in defending personal injury litigation on behalf of all types of businesses within the travel and leisure industries and their insurers. He has a particular interest in and extensive experience of multi party litigation and catastrophic and fatal accident claims. Robin also specialises in overseas recoveries and has successfully obtained in excess of £1,200,000 for tour operator clients and insurers over the past 18 months.
Cases of note handled by Robin include Lambert v Travelsphere (relating to the obligations of a tour operator when 'constrained' to make a significant change), Gray v Cosmosair plc & 1 other (relating to a fatal road traffic accident in Portugal and a successful indemnity claim against a third party coach company) and Barlow v Thomson Holidays (relating to the application of a Spanish quasi strict liability standard to the duty of the tour operator under the Package Travel Regulations).
Robin also handles commercial litigation for travel and leisure industry clients. As a business graduate and former European Treasury Co-ordinator with Royal Caribbean International, Robin brings strong financial and business skills to the firm.
